Dear I Like it Direct,
A friend purchased a Toyota Landcruiser wagon, and we were giving it a thorough service. The rear diff filler plug had been so badly burred a conventional socket wouldn’t grip it. I could get a grip with half the width of the jaws of the 10 inch Super Wrench, but it was so tightly seated we could not shift it, even with an extension pipe over the handle. Drilling the plug out seemed like the only option, but we didn’t like the idea of drill swarf getting into the diff. We had the last ditch idea to jack up the ‘Cruiser, apply the Super Wrench to the plug, block it up so it was in tension, then slowly lower the vehicle so its weight would apply more force to the wrench than we could muster. Half jaw width was all we had to work with. We thought we might get the plug to shift. It wasn’t until we had the jack fully lowered, with all weight on the wrench that we finally got the plug to turn. I see the listed maximum handle load for the 10 inch wrench is 120 Kg. We must have had well over 1000 Kg of Landcruiser bearing on the wrench, and it didn’t break. Amazing.

Dear I Like it Direct,
I want to confirm that The Super Wrenches are a terrific set of tools to have handy.
They are very versatile by being able to firmly grip all sorts of sizes and shapes without causing damage or slipping as other tools do.
I have the set of 4 tools

Just a quick note to say that Super Wrench’s are really fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an all purpose wrench. These wrench’s have proven to be a very useful addition to the toolkit. When we saw your demonstration at Agquip 2007, I asked if we could put a 4ft pipe on to the largest wrench for more power, your reply was that “you were satisfied that the wrench would handle it!” Just to let you know that the largest wrench can handle an 8ft length of pipe without any failure, however good quality German Stiltsons that were on the other end of the job aren’t so healthy and now have a bent handle. The wrenches have been used on that stubborn little bleed nipple or to hold a rounded bolt head, also for tightening large gang nuts and pipes. They can be used anywhere that a slip free constant grip is required with the added bonus of no crushing or damaging to the work from the teeth of the wrench. The main advantage of this tool is its ability to self adjust and to hold on. It can be used with only one hand, something that can’t be done with other large adjustable spanners /wrenches

Dear I Like it Direct,
I bought two ‘superwrench’ sets (including the large 16 inch) at the WA Garden Show earlier this year, one set for me and one for my son. While he was away recently, my wife and I thought we would renovate his bathroom and there is no way we would have succeeded without these wrenches. Can you imagine the state of the taps and pipes etc after 41 years of use!
There was no other tool in my shed that could have done the job without severely damaging the pipes/threads etc.
Thank you, they are a great invention. Two of my friends went to the Tradesman’s Expo in Perth this weekend so they could buy themselves a set, they were so impressed.

Dear I Like it Direct,
I called at the tradesman expo on Friday and saw Steve Dudson once again and had a chat about how pleased I was with my purchase of my super wrench set the previous year the only thing missing was the case. The super wrench is a great addition to anyone’s tool kit. I had a mate come along with me Frank Scatchard. He was impressed with super wrench set and made a purchase
Thanks

Dear ilikeitdirect,
I recently bought a set of superwrenches from your representatives at the Perth 4 Wheel Drive Show, they have proven to be such a success that I would now like to add a further 2 x 150mm to my tool box
In case you are wondering why they would be used for windmill repair - the uncoupling of pump rods, a job that has always been done with the smallest of stilsons.
Are you able to supply individual pieces?
Thanks,
Peter

Dear Steve,
I am writing to let you know how happy I am after purchasing your product at the Cairns Show last month. In fact it was the very next morning when I found a need for the Super Wrench capabilities.
There was a faulty tap in the garden which had been dripping for some weeks. It was a very old fixture and all the fittings were ceased ( being of galvanised metal ) and hard to get at. Short of a hacksaw and trying to start afresh somewhere below where I needed the tap to be I opened the case that the Super Wrench Tools were in and took the two larger ones to the job. Because normal pipe working tools couldn't hold let alone turn the fittings in the problem tap these new tools solved the task at hand with ease, so much so that I was back inside enjoying a cuppa in no time at all.
Keep up the good work,
Dave Edwards

This is to advise that I found my Sharpen-all Double Stone Sharpener and the associated Drill Clamp to be most effective tool for sharpening knives and a wide range of other items around the home and workshop, where a good cutting edge is most important. All our household scissors are now a pleasure to use.
The Drill Clamp is particularly useful as it allows a standard drill to be used not only for sharpening, but a wide variety of other workshop applications
Your faithfully
Peter Wright
